Nick Kyrgios Predicts Surprise Triumph for Zverev or Medvedev in 2026

The 2022 Wimbledon finalist sees his former rivals breaking the Alcaraz and Sinner hegemony next year.
While Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner have been crushing everything in their path for the past two seasons, Nick Kyrgios is announcing a surprise for the 2026 season. Questioned in Hong Kong during the Ultimate Tennis Showdown, the Australian surprised everyone by naming Daniil Medvedev or Alexander Zverev as the potential winners of a Grand Slam in 2026.
"I think Medvedev and Zverev are tired of seeing them win everything. They will be hungry, very hungry. It just takes an opening and they will seize it," he stated.
But his predictions don't stop there. The Frenchman Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard and the gem Joao Fonseca are, according to him, the players to watch.
"He has the best serve I've ever seen. I think he will break into the Top 10. As for Fonseca, I see him reaching the quarterfinals or semifinals of a Grand Slam. He plays without fear."
