"It's fake news": Casper Ruud settles scores with TNT Sports

His comments about Sinner and Alcaraz went viral online... But according to Casper Ruud, everything is false. The Norwegian lashed out at TNT Sports, denouncing a statement that was "completely fabricated."
This Wednesday, Casper Ruud attacked the media outlet TNT Sports, which broadcasts sports like the NBA in the United States, but has made a place for itself in the tennis world this year by acquiring the broadcast rights for Roland Garros.
The Norwegian, who passed the first round in Basel against Quentin Halys (6-1, 7-6), was making the media rounds following a statement about Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz reported by Punto de Break and also Tennis365:
"It's harder for the other (players), because we don't win as many (matches) as they do. Bouncing back after defeats every week is a challenge."
Seeing the viral nature of this statement, Ruud broke his silence to confirm that his words had been distorted: "I never said what TNT Sports claims. The video of the real quote exists somewhere. It's fake news."
The comments in question had been extracted from a press conference in Stockholm last week.
The masses are only ever told lies.
