Jannik Sinner storms into the quarterfinals in Paris… gritting his teeth

Still just as irresistible, Jannik Sinner notched his 23rd consecutive indoor victory on Thursday by defeating Francisco Cerundolo in Paris. The world number 2 continues his impressive streak but showed some signs of fatigue before facing Ben Shelton.
Nothing seems able to stop Jannik Sinner at the end of this season. Crowned champion in Vienna last week, the world number 2 continued his momentum by defeating Francisco Cerundolo 7-5, 6-1 in the round of 16 of the Rolex Paris Masters on Thursday.
The Italian experienced some physical difficulties in the first set, conceding his serve twice. But once the first set was in his pocket, he perfectly executed his game to secure a 23rd consecutive indoor victory.
In the quarterfinals tomorrow, the San Candido native will face Ben Shelton, whom he has already beaten twice this season. His physical condition remains something to watch before this new duel.
