Auger-Aliassime Wins in Paris: A Top 10 Returned and a Masters Dream Revived

Back in the world's Top 10, Félix Auger-Aliassime delivered a thrilling battle against Francisco Comesaña in the first round of the Rolex Paris Masters.

Facing an inspired Argentinian, the Canadian first conceded the opening set in a tie-break before raising his level to win 6-7(2), 6-3, 6-3.

Thanks to this result, he notched his 35th hard-court victory of the season, a figure that places him just behind Alex de Minaur (40) among the most successful players on this surface in 2025.

Having qualified for the second round of the Parisian tournament, Auger-Aliassime will now face Alexandre Muller. A clash that promises to be electric: the Canadian is playing to keep his hopes of qualifying for the Turin Masters alive, while Muller dreams of a home-court upset.
