"I am motivated by the possibility of facing the best players," assures Tsitsipas ahead of the Six Kings Slam

This Wednesday, October 15th, and for three days, six players will compete in the second edition of the Six Kings Slam exhibition in Riyadh. In the quarterfinals, Stefanos Tsitsipas will face Jannik Sinner, and could meet Novak Djokovic in the semifinals if he succeeds against the Italian.
Speaking at a press conference in the Saudi capital, the Greek, ranked 24th in the world, discussed the upcoming competition in the next few hours and hopes to stand out and go all the way.
"I have never seen anything like this in tennis. It's fantastic that we have the opportunity to participate in such a tournament. The format is very modern and innovative. I think the fun is guaranteed not only for the fans but also for us, the players.
A lot is decided here, and we want to show ourselves in the best light. There are no random players in this tournament, only the strongest are gathered here. Several things motivate me.
First, it's an honor. For me, it's important to know what kind of player I am on the court. Second, the prize money is significant, and I want to win, to become the king of the tournament. Third, I am motivated by the possibility of facing the best players.
This season, I haven't played many matches against them, but I have already managed to establish a real rivalry with some of them. I have often played against most of the participants, so this is also a way to continue building my legacy in tennis," Tsitsipas assured Tribuna.
