Sinner after his semifinal: It was a very difficult match

Jannik Sinner spoke following his victory against Alex de Minaur in the semifinal of the Turin Masters.

The Italian is heading to the final. After defeating a very solid Australian (7-5, 6-2), Sinner maintains his unbeaten record against his opponent (13-0) and also continues his incredible streak of 30 consecutive indoor victories.

Interviewed on court after his success, the native of San Candido said this:

"It was a very difficult match, he served really well. But in the second set, I managed to get the break quite early and that allowed me to relax. Tomorrow will be a very important day. But first of all, thank you to the crowd!

This is the last tournament of the year. I'm so lucky to be playing at home. It's very special. Tomorrow will be very difficult, but I am lucky to have you and I will give it my all."

On Sunday, for his third consecutive final in Turin, he will face the winner of the match between Carlos Alcaraz and Félix Auger-Aliassime (8:30 PM).
