He plays at a dizzying speed, says Auger-Aliassime about Alcaraz

Félix Auger-Aliassime had no choice but to acknowledge the superiority of Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner after his defeat in the semifinals of the ATP Finals against the Spaniard on Saturday night.

As expected, the 2025 ATP Finals will feature the world's two best players in the final this Sunday, namely Carlos Alcaraz against Jannik Sinner. Auger-Aliassime, who was defeated by both players in this tournament, and by Alcaraz on Saturday night in the semifinals in Turin, fought hard but ultimately lost in two sets. He discussed both players in a press conference after his elimination from the Masters.

"The rankings don't lie. Alcaraz and Sinner are the two best players, that's a fact. They have different playing styles, but both exert extreme pressure on their opponent, each in their own way. No need to explain how they play, we all know.

We've seen them play in recent years. We know what to expect. They continue to prove themselves and play well, so credit must be given to them. For a player who was doing everything well, I remember three or four years ago, everyone was saying: 'He has an incredible serve!'

The rest of his game has always been good. He can change the direction of both shots. He puts pressure on you in a different way, you don't know what to expect. He plays at a dizzying speed, I think that was the most difficult part.

The future will tell if I can beat those players. I have improved a lot this year. Since my childhood, I have always believed in it, and my ambition was to win Grand Slams and be world number one.

I've had ups and downs, but honestly, despite everything, I always believed I could do it, and I still believe it today. Now it's about doing what's necessary to improve myself. If I do that, we'll see how far I can go," Auger-Aliassime assured Punto de Break.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Chwalinska and Huergo at the Quito tournament? The match was played to completion and on time. If TT feels the match is one sided, and of course it was, then don't put it up for prediction. This is getting irritating.

The finals are here, and we scramble for the best finish. I've been chasing "King" all year and I was able to shrink the spread a little. Skelp is also closing the gap.

Seasons best to all the regulars in our league.

Will you all be back in the new year.?

Steffi Graf completed a Golden Slam (not just a career Grand Slam) when she was 19. She is the only person to accomplish that, winning the four majors plus Olympic gold the same calendar year.

What a finish this is.. I believe King has used his boost for today. Skelp is closing strong. Two wins and he claims 1st if I lose my last prediction.

Gonna be difficult with only 2 pointers to choose from.
