This almost never happens. In over a century of professional tennis, only a handful of players have managed to maintain at least a 90% win rate over several consecutive seasons.
Indeed, according to a post from the X account, Jeu, Set et Maths, only four players had achieved this feat: Jimmy Connors (1974-1976), Björn Borg (1977-1980), Ivan Lendl (1985-1987), and Roger Federer (2004-2006). Four giants. Four different eras.
And in 2025, Jannik Sinner has officially joined this prestigious club.
In conclusion, this statistic demonstrates Sinner's prodigious dominance on the ATP tour, as apart from his rival Alcaraz, no one seems capable of troubling him.
