The Shanghai chapter is turned, declares Rinderknech ahead of his Rolex Paris Masters debut

After their surprising final in Shanghai, Arthur Rinderknech and Valentin Vacherot are focusing on the Rolex Paris Masters. The former assures that this magical journey is behind them, but the draw could offer a new captivating duel as early as the second round.

Two weeks ago, Arthur Rinderknech and Valentin Vacherot faced each other in the final of the Shanghai Masters 1000. An unexpected matchup that made waves in the tennis world. After this highly publicized week in China, both players have turned their attention to the end of the season.

Rinderknech, present at the Rolex Paris Masters thanks to a wild card, asserts it: the Shanghai chapter is well and truly closed.

"What we did is exceptional, it's historic. We experienced that as a family, it was incredible and I am super happy for him.

Now, the ATP tour has tournaments every week, we have already turned the page. We can talk about it for the rest of our lives, but there is a new tournament this week, full of respective goals," he stated in comments relayed by Ouest-France.

Ironically, the draw sets up a potential clash between Rinderknech and Vacherot in the second round. The Frenchman will first have to get past Fabian Marozsan, while Vacherot will have a tough task against Jiri Lehecka.
