Ruud Eliminated Early in Paris and Out of the Running for the ATP Finals

Casper Ruud could have potentially dreamed of the ATP Finals, provided he had a strong run at the Rolex Paris Masters. But the hopes were short-lived for the Norwegian, who was swept aside in two sets by Daniel Altmaier with a score of 6-3, 7-5.

Despite a de-break when serving for the match, Ruud was broken again immediately after and could not level the score once more.

With 2835 points in the Race, the Norwegian is now out of the running for a spot in Turin, where the remaining places will mainly be contested between Alex de Minaur, Lorenzo Musetti, and Felix Auger-Aliassime.
