Every match is different": Sinner warns ahead of a potential final against Alcaraz in Turin

Without flinching, Sinner secured his place in the Masters final for the third year in a row. When asked about a potential new showdown against Alcaraz, he tempered expectations: "Every match is different… even on the same surface." A strong message ahead of what could be one of the last major duels of the year.

For the 10th time this season, Jannik Sinner will be in a tournament final. The Italian, positioned as the favorite to succeed himself in Turin, calmly earned his qualification for the final step of the tournament by defeating Alex de Minaur (7-5, 6-2).

A third final in as many editions played in Turin, confirming his status as the boss of indoor play, also being on a streak of 30 consecutive victories under these conditions.

Facing journalists, Sinner was, of course, asked about the possibility of another final against his rival Carlos Alcaraz, who faces Félix Auger-Aliassime this Saturday:

"Every match is different. We saw that in Rome and in Paris. Even on the same surface, everything can change. I am very happy to finish the season here with another final. It has been an incredible year for me and I really look forward to tomorrow.

These are the matches that excite me. They also allow me to see where my level really is, but at the same time, it's ideal to have this match before the end-of-season break. Carlos has to play against Félix, who is a very tough opponent, he enjoys playing indoors. We will see who wins.
