3/3: Rybakina Unstoppable in the WTA Finals Group Stage!

Already qualified, Elena Rybakina had no intention of taking her foot off the gas.

By defeating Ekaterina Alexandrova 6-4, 6-4 in the group stage of the WTA Finals in Riyadh, the Kazakh player secured a third consecutive victory in the Serena Williams group, extending a simply impressive streak.

Three matches, three wins, only one set lost. Elena Rybakina concluded the WTA Finals group stage in a very solid manner. Already guaranteed a spot in the semi-finals, she nevertheless approached her duel against Alexandrova with the same intensity as a decisive match. Result: 6-4, 6-4 in just 1 hour and 7 minutes.

With this win, Rybakina extends her consecutive victory streak to nine. Even more impressive: this is her ninth victory against a Top 10 player in 2025, the 29th of her career at this level. A statistic that highlights the progress of the 26-year-old player.
