For four years, Iga Świątek has not known the words "false start."

In every tournament, whether it's a WTA 500, a Grand Slam, the United Cup, or even the prestigious WTA Finals, the Polish player always clears the first hurdle with great regularity.

Her last opening-round loss? You have to go back to November 11, 2021, against Maria Sakkari (6-2, 6-4) at the WTA Finals in Guadalajara. Since then, 69 events, 69 victories in her opening match. An impressive statistic.

In the recent history of women's tennis, few players can boast such consistency, but Świątek seems immune to the nerves of a first match.

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.

It's a shame that so many matches are being canceled. TT ,you are destroying your game ,and thereby killing your app. I don't know how many matches others have had canceled , but I'm at 3 and it's only thursday.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Grenier and Hsu at the Kobe tournament? The match was played to completion and on time.
