A good match? Not for me, the strange handshake between Evans and Brooksby at Eastbourne

The Eastbourne tournament featured a rather peculiar scene during the quarterfinal match between Dan Evans and Jenson Brooksby.

The American, a lucky loser, dominated in straight sets (6-2, 6-3) to reach his second semifinal of the season after Houston in early April. When shaking his opponent's hand, he said, "Well played, good match," as a sportsmanlike gesture.

Evans, frustrated by the loss, asked Brooksby to repeat his words before retorting, "A good match? Not for me." (see video below).

Brooksby will face Ugo Humbert tomorrow, aiming to reach the second grass-court final of his career.
