A new young American talent qualifies for the Next Gen Masters!

The Masters Next Gen, to be played from December 16 to 22, is almost complete. On Wednesday, American Nishesh Basavareddy secured his ticket for Jeddah.
Basavareddy, who started the year ranked 452nd in the world, is now ranked 139th. The 19-year-old American won the Puerto Vallarta Challenger last week, as well as the Tiburon Challenger (USA) in early October.
He has also reached the finals of the Charlottesville and Champaign Challenger tournaments in recent weeks. An impressive end to the year, which has enabled him to secure the penultimate ticket available to play in the Next Gen Masters.
He will be the third American in Jeddah after Alex Michelsen and Learner Tien qualified.
