A young Austrian prodigy and former opponent of Boisson wins Roland-Garros Junior

At just 17 years old, Lilli Tagger claimed the 2025 edition of Roland-Garros Junior. A true rising star of Austrian tennis, the player defeated Britain's Klugman in the final (6-2, 6-0). She had reached this stage of the competition without dropping a single set.

Much like her coach Schiavone, who triumphed here in 2010 among the professionals, Tagger wields a one-handed backhand.

Among her best results this year, she won the W35 in Terrassa last March by defeating the breakout star of the Parisian tournament, Lois Boisson (7-6, 6-3).
