After his comments on the Masters 1000, Wawrinka responds to Tsitsipas
Stefanos Tsitsipas gave his opinion on Platform X on the new Masters 1000 format that has been adopted from 2023.
A twelve-day format that the Greek doesn't particularly like, as he explained by comparing it with the success of the Paris Masters 1000. But it would seem that his opinion was different two years ago.
Indeed, Stan Wawrinka found a video posted by the ATP in which Tsitsipas, in discussion with ATP boss Andrea Gaudenzi, approved the reform of the calendar and, consequently, the change of format for the Masters 1000.
A response posted in the comments by the Swiss proves the contradiction of Stefanos Tsitsipas's comments.
