After New York, Alcaraz follows up with another exhibition in Charlotte

Yesterday, Carlos Alcaraz won the Garden Cup against Ben Shelton, a prestigious exhibition held at Madison Square Garden in New York.

And the world No.3's American tour continues this Friday, this time in Charlotte, North Carolina. Alcaraz will be taking part in the Charlotte Invitational, where he will face Frances Tiafoe.

There will also be a women's match between Madison Keys and Sloane Stephens.

Alcaraz's decision to play these two matches in the USA, in the middle of the off-season, is still under discussion.

Indeed, the Spaniard was among the stars denouncing an overloaded calendar, as he stated last September: "I think there are a lot of tournaments in the year, compulsory tournaments.

In the next few years, there will be even more. They're probably going to kill us one way or another (smile)."

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.

It's a shame that so many matches are being canceled. TT ,you are destroying your game ,and thereby killing your app. I don't know how many matches others have had canceled , but I'm at 3 and it's only thursday.
