Victorious in her first-round match yesterday in Washington against Peyton Stearns, Venus Williams proved that her game is still intact—even at the age of 45.

While she will continue her run against Magdalena Frech tomorrow, the elder Williams sister received a wild card this Wednesday for the WTA 1000 in Cincinnati.

Proof that the seven-time Grand Slam champion intends to keep the momentum going during this American tour. Her best result in Ohio dates back to 2012 with a semifinal appearance.

I propose the following changes to the rules:

1...a walķover will not be a loss. We have no control of player's health. If he or she is entered in a contest we expect them to play.

2...an incomplete match is not a loss. If a player forfeits we pick another match if there are more to choose.

3...this also applies if TT cancels a match. TT will not take hours to decide an outcome.

It's a shame that so many matches are being canceled. TT ,you are destroying your game ,and thereby killing your app. I don't know how many matches others have had canceled , but I'm at 3 and it's only thursday.

why did tennis tonic void predictions on the match between Grenier and Hsu at the Kobe tournament? The match was played to completion and on time.

Grenier def Ysu 6-2 , 6-2 at Kobe today and the TT canceled the match.
