Alcaraz reacts to his spectacular point against Altmaier: "I said I was trying to put on a show"

Carlos Alcaraz reached the quarterfinals of the Monte-Carlo Masters for the first time in his career by defeating Daniel Altmaier on Thursday.
Beyond the result, the world No. 3 left a lasting impression with a breathtaking break point saved in the early stages of the match. The winning point included drop shots, a tweener, wild sprints, and, finally, a decisive backhand attack from the Spaniard.
Speaking to TennisTV, he reflected on this masterful exchange that electrified the crowd on Court Rainier III:
"I remember it perfectly. The point was tough. I thought I could reach his drop shot fairly easily. But then, it got complicated.
After that, I just tried to pull off that tweener. On a break point, it’s even harder to execute. But it gets the crowd even more fired up.
I said I was trying to put on a show and entertain the people. A point like that is a reflection of what my matches will be like."
