Andreescu to Make Her Comeback at the Open de Rouen

Bianca Andreescu, absent from the courts since last October, will start her 2025 season on clay at the WTA 250 in Rouen, where Elina Svitolina and Emma Raducanu are also expected to compete.
The Canadian, who has dropped to 130th in the world rankings, confirmed her participation. She had to delay the start of her season after undergoing an appendectomy.

With no points to defend until Roland-Garros (where she reached the third round last year), the 2019 US Open champion will aim to climb back into the Top 100 and undoubtedly hopes for a smooth, injury-free remainder of the season.
