Andreeva Falls in Stuttgart Second Round to Alexandrova

Mirra Andreeva faced Ekaterina Alexandrova this Thursday in the second round of the Stuttgart tournament.

She had no answer against her compatriot and lost 6-3, 6-2 in just 1 hour and 6 minutes of play.

On her side, Alexandrova secures her 4th Top 10 win in 2025. Only Madison Keys and Andreeva herself have done better so far with 5 Top 10 victories.

In the quarterfinals, she will face either Jessica Pegula or Magdalena Frech.
