Anisimova Eliminates Andreeva in Miami, Ending Her 13-Match Winning Streak

Mirra Andreeva hoped to continue her success in the United States after her title at Indian Wells.

Unfortunately for her, she was defeated by Amanda Anisimova with a score of 7-6, 2-6, 6-3 in Miami.

The match was marked by a medical timeout taken by Anisimova during Andreeva's serve due to a blister on her finger.

This interruption was contested by the Russian, who told the umpire, "We all know why."

After the match, Anisimova made a point to show her finger on Instagram, mocking Andreeva's comments.

The American will face Emma Raducanu in the Miami quarterfinals.
