Joao Fonseca claimed the Phoenix Challenger 175 by defeating Bublik (7-6, 7-6). To reach the final, he beat Kotov (6-2, 6-4), Struff (6-1, 4-6, 6-3), Gaston (6-4, 6-4), and Nishikori (6-3, 6-3).
This is the fifth tournament won by the 18-year-old player after Canberra (125) and Buenos Aires (250) in 2025, as well as Lexington (75) and the Next Gen Masters in 2024. This result allows the Brazilian to break into the Top 60.
