ATP 500 Doha: Wawrinka and Cazaux face off in first qualifying round
As we await the draw for the main draw of the Doha tournament, which is set to welcome a host of top players next week, the qualifying draw has been unveiled.
A number of French players have entered the draw, including Quentin Halys, seeded number 1, who will face Qatari wild card Mubarak Shannan Zayid.
Meanwhile, Terence Atmane will face Otto Virtanen, who eliminated Sebastian Korda this week in the first round of the Marseille tournament.
Finally, Arthur Cazaux will also be playing for a place in the main draw, but first he'll have to overcome Stan Wawrinka.
The two men are no strangers to each other, having met in the first round in Montpellier (where the Frenchman won) and also played doubles together in the Hérault at the end of January.
Should Cazaux succeed against the Swiss champion, he could join Halys for a place in the main draw.
