ATP Rankings: Atmane Breaks into Top 100, Khachanov Returns to Top 10
While the Cincinnati Masters 1000 is not quite over yet, with the final set for Monday between Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz, a new ATP ranking has been released.
Térence Atmane, a semifinalist in Ohio, enters the Top 100 for the first time in his career, landing at No. 69. Unfortunately for him, he will have to compete in the US Open qualifiers but is guaranteed a spot in the main draw of upcoming Grand Slams.
Among other French players, Alexandre Müller and Corentin Moutet have reached their career-high rankings, at No. 38 and No. 41, respectively.
The Top 10 remains largely unchanged, with Karen Khachanov being the only newcomer after reaching the final in Toronto. He climbs to No. 9, replacing Holger Rune, who drops to No. 11.
Alexei Popyrin, who couldn’t defend his title at the Canada Masters 1000, falls 18 spots to No. 37. As a result, he will not be seeded at the US Open.
