Auger-Aliassime: "I hope that this year, I'll get closer to the top 10"

Having had a fantastic start to the season, Félix Auger-Aliassime has already claimed two titles in 2025. Victorious in Adelaide and Montpellier, the Canadian reached his fourth semi-final of the year in Dubai.
After his victory against Marin Cilic (6-4, 3-6, 6-2), Auger-Aliassime doesn’t want to stop there in the upcoming weeks.
In a press conference, the 24-year-old player, ranked 21st in the world this week, expressed his ambitions for the rest of the season.
"Last year was complicated for several reasons. I had a back injury at the end of the season. I had time to recover, and my whole team did a great job to get me back on the court in the best physical condition possible.
Little by little, I hope that this year, by the end of the season, I will get closer to the top 10, and even the ATP Finals in Turin, if possible.
That would be a great year. I approach each Grand Slam telling myself that I can win, but it's not the same when you keep racking up the victories.
You come in with a different confidence. That's what I'm trying to build, but to have that mindset, you have to continue to be consistent," assured Auger-Aliassime.
