Cilic and Auger-Aliassime qualify for the Dubai quarterfinals

Marin Cilic faced Alexei Popyrin in the second round of the Dubai tournament. Following his impressive victory against Alex de Minaur, the Croatian continued his strong performance.
Despite losing the first set, Cilic managed to regain his composure and secured a narrow victory with scores of 5-7, 6-3, 6-4.
Felix Auger-Aliassime did the same, losing the first set against Nuno Borges before winning in three sets.
After a disappointing first set from the Canadian, he began making fewer errors and took advantage of a less in-form Borges.
He won 4-6, 6-3, 7-5. In a post-match interview, he stated: "I've experienced some difficult situations in recent months.
This now helps me stay more relaxed. My two titles at the start of the season have reignited my confidence.
I would have preferred to do better in Australia, but my time will come."
Auger-Aliassime and Cilic will face off for a spot in the Dubai semifinals.
