Australian Open 2026: Djokovic One Step Away from a Legendary Record Held by Federer and Lopez
The Australian Open is a special tournament for Novak Djokovic. It is the first Grand Slam he won, in 2008 against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, and also the one he has won the most: ten times.
By participating in the 2026 edition, the Serbian is about to equal a record held by Roger Federer and also Feliciano Lopez: that of the most Grand Slam tournament participations.
For now, the Swiss and the Spaniard have 81 participations compared to 80 for Djokovic.
