Azarenka: "Rublev was there".
Appearing on the vlog of her colleague and rival Daria Kasatkina, Victoria Azarenka discussed her recent withdrawal from Wimbledon.
Very frank, she admitted to having been particularly depressed, but also to having been able to count on the support of a certain Andrey Rublev.
She declared: "When I announced my withdrawal from Wimbledon, Andrey Rublev was there and I was crying. He hugged me, calmed me down and said, 'What's wrong with you?
I said, 'how can I withdraw from Wimbledon?'. He said, 'you've already won so much, I wish I could do the same'."
