A sensation in Montreal as Rublev topples Sinner!

A sensation in Montreal as Rublev topples Sinner!

Andrey Rublev is truly unpredictable this season.

Having arrived in Canada with very little confidence, the Russian rediscovered his best tennis at the best of times to topple a still slightly physically weakened Sinner (6-3, 1-6, 6-2).

Hitting the ball with unbelievable intensity, Rublev directed the game perfectly, forcing the world number 1 to cede more and more ground to him.

On cloud nine, the world number 8 gave a second boost to his season and reached the semi-finals, where another man in form, Matteo Arnaldi, awaits him.
