Badosa crumbles, Navarro qualifies for her first Grand Slam semi-final!

Emma Navarro has just qualified for her very first Grand Slam semi-final. The American dominated Paula Badosa in two sets (6-2, 7-5) and just over an hour in the quarter-finals of the US Open.

However, it could have been much more complicated for the world no. 12, as she was trailing the Spaniard 5-1 in the 2nd set. But Badosa completely collapsed, multiplying her unforced errors and winning just 5 of the last 6 games of the match.

Navarro, 23, will face either Aryna Sabalenka or Zheng Qinwen in her bid to reach the final at Flushing Meadows.
