Bastad and Gstaad Results: Gaston Advances, Rinderknech Falls

Hugo Gaston and Arthur Rinderknech opted for European clay courts before heading to Canada for the Toronto Masters 1000.
Competing in Bastad, Gaston made a successful start by defeating Chun Hsin Tseng with a score of 6-4, 6-3. He will face Damir Dzumhur in the next round.

Unfortunately for Rinderknech, his outcome was different. The Frenchman fell to Francesco Passaro, who had come through the qualifying rounds.
The Italian secured a 6-1, 7-5 victory and will next play either Jérôme Kym or Calvin Hemery.
