Beaten by Pera, Garcia still can't get going
Grand Slam tournaments come and go for Caroline Garcia. Already out in the second round at the Australian Open and Roland Garros, she did no better at Wimbledon this year.
Opposed to Bernarda Pera, the Frenchwoman didn't have a bad match, but was too shaky on the important points and finally lost in 3 sets (3-6, 6-3, 6-4 in 1h38).
Despite serving well (12 aces) and hitting the ball well (33 winners, 19 unforced errors), the French No.1 fell into the trap and is already bidding farewell to London.
