Kasatkina was in a hurry!

Kasatkina was in a hurry!

Daria Kasatkina is looking impressive at the moment. Having won the title at Eastbourne just before Wimbledon, the Russian is off to an impressive start to her London tournament.

After a very quiet first round, the world no. 12 did even better in the second. Against Miyazaki (148th, invited by the organizers), she won in just 48 minutes (6-0, 6-0).

Unperturbed, she didn't concede a single break point, and didn't give her opponent any breathing space, who soon found herself at a loss for words (7 winners, 31 unforced errors).

Kasatkina is now a serious outsider and will face Paula Badosa in the 3rd round.
