Being in the quarterfinals is a step, winning Roland-Garros is a dream," says Boisson after her upset against Pegula at Roland-Garros

Loïs Boisson created the day's biggest surprise at Roland-Garros by eliminating world No. 3 Jessica Pegula in the round of 16.
The Frenchwoman, playing in her first Roland-Garros, is living a dream she hopes to continue in the quarterfinals against Mirra Andreeva:
"From the start of the match, I believed in my chances. Of course, it was a blow to my morale when she won the first set. But as soon as I came back in the second, I started believing in victory again.
In the last two games, it was pretty tense—I made a few small mistakes because of the pressure, but I got through it.
On match point, I was really tense. I only had one chance, and I hoped to win it right there. Everything just released afterward—all the stress from the end of the match faded. I was just so happy to win and to be in the quarterfinals here.
Playing Roland-Garros was a dream from the start. Then, winning it is a dream and a goal. Being in the quarterfinals is a step. I hope to go as far as possible.
