"Being the No. 4 seed at Wimbledon? I don’t think about it," says Draper

Having made an excellent start to the season, Jack Draper claimed the biggest title of his career last March at the Indian Wells Masters 1000. A finalist in Madrid, the Brit has clearly taken a step forward in recent months and recently reached a career-high ranking (world No. 4) at just 23 years old.
Qualified for the quarterfinals of the ATP 500 tournament at Queen’s, the left-hander—who will face Brandon Nakashima—hopes to reach his first final in London, which would be ideal preparation ahead of Wimbledon.
However, rankings matter little to Draper, who simply aims to achieve the best possible results before the Grand Slam on London grass, which begins at the end of June.
"Being the No. 4 seed at Wimbledon? It would be significant, but I don’t think I’ll dwell on it much. I never think about what I’ve accomplished in tennis—I always prefer to focus on the upcoming tournaments. I always want to keep moving forward.
I concentrate on what’s important to me and what I can control. I can’t decide who I’ll face in tournaments, but I can control what I do during the match.
So, I need to prepare to do my best and achieve my goal. Being the No. 4 seed at Wimbledon would certainly help, but I’m not thinking about it," he told *Tennis World Italia*.
