Bellucci dominates Tsitsipas to reach Rotterdam semi-finals

Mattia Bellucci is enjoying the best week of his career in the Netherlands.

After beating Daniil Medvedev on Tuesday, the Italian, ranked 92nd in the world and a qualifier, defeated Stefanos Tsitsipas in the tournament quarter-finals on Friday (6-4, 6-2) in less than an hour and a half's play.

Tsitsipas, a far cry from the level of his narrow victory over Tallon Griekspoor the day before, never got into his stride and continued his disappointing start to the season.

Bellucci will face Alex De Minaur tomorrow in a bid to reach the first final of his career on the ATP circuit.
