BJK Cup 2025: The United States Wins the Decisive Doubles Against Kazakhstan and Reaches the Semifinals

After a thrilling encounter in Shenzhen, the United States qualifies for the semifinals of the Billie Jean King Cup, thanks to Emma Navarro’s heroic performance and a solid doubles match by Pegula and Townsend against Kazakhstan.

The USA had taken the lead thanks to Emma Navarro, who saved two match points against Yulia Putintseva (7-5, 2-6, 7-6), before Elena Rybakina allowed Kazakhstan to equalize with a convincing performance against Jessica Pegula (6-4, 6-1).
