BJK Cup: Badosa Returns... but Already Looking Toward 2026

Spain faces Ukraine this Wednesday in the quarter-finals of the BJK Cup, with the anticipated return of Paula Badosa. However, the player, marked by a chaotic season, prefers to look much further ahead than this event.

More than two months after her last match, Paula Badosa is returning to official competition. It's during the Final 8 of the Billie Jean King Cup that the Spaniard will make her way back to the courts and will undoubtedly play her first match since Wimbledon.

In a year marred by injuries (notably to her back and psoas), Badosa admitted in a press conference that she is already focused on the next season:

“I am starting over and coming back, but I know the season will end soon. I'm trying to feel as good as possible, but honestly, my goal is already set on 2026.”
