Boisson, arrived in Seoul, ready to bounce back after two consecutive defeats
An important tournament awaits Loïs Boisson, who is preparing to return to the spotlight at the WTA 500 in Seoul. After securing her first title and awaiting the arrival of her new coach, the French player is determined to face renowned opponents in the coming days.
Boisson is set to make her return to competition. The 22-year-old French player, ranked 47th in the world, is coming off two consecutive hard-court defeats, including a first-round loss at the US Open against Golubic, and will compete next week in the WTA 500 tournament in Seoul, South Korea.
The Roland-Garros semifinalist, who will work with Carlos Martinez during this Asian tour after her stop in the Korean capital, has already begun training in Seoul, with the tournament starting on September 15.
After winning her first title on the main tour in Hamburg at the end of July, Boisson will compete in this tournament alongside players such as Iga Swiatek, Amanda Anisimova, Ekaterina Alexandrova, Clara Tauson, Daria Kasatkina, Emma Raducanu, Diana Shnaider, and defending champion Beatriz Haddad Maia. The draw will take place this weekend before matches begin next week.
