Boisson Makes a Successful Start in Hamburg
Loïs Boisson faced Julia Grabher in the first round of the WTA 250 in Hamburg. The French player needed to bounce back after an early exit in Bastad last week.
She did just that, securing a 6-1, 6-3 victory in 1 hour and 19 minutes. Interviewed on court after the match, she said: "You never play your best in the first round, but I’m satisfied with my performance.
I’d never played here before, so I had to adjust."
In the next round, she will face either Raluca Georgiana Serban or Tamara Korpatsch.
