Bolelli and Vavassori to face Heliovaara/Patten in Australian Open men's doubles final
This Friday saw the semi-finals of the men's doubles at the Australian Open. The Simone Bolelli/Andrea Vavassori pair won in three sets against Andre Goransson and Sem Verbeek.
After losing the first set, the Italians managed to come back to within a set of each other, before winning the final set with a break in the third game.
In the second semi-final, the Harri Heliovaara/Henry Patten pair won the third set tie-break against Kevin Krawietz and Tim Puetz.
The final will be played this Saturday in Melbourne, where the Bolelli/Vavassori pair will undoubtedly be slight favourites.
