Bouzkova Triumphs in Prague for the Second Time in Her Career

In an all-Czech final, Marie Bouzkova emerged victorious against Linda Noskova (2-6, 6-1, 6-3) in Prague.
For the third time in the tournament's history, a local player was guaranteed to claim the title in the Czech capital. Linda Noskova, ranked 23rd in the world and the top seed, had been the favorite throughout the week, losing only one set in four matches.
Facing her was Marie Bouzkova, the 2022 champion, who rediscovered her best form in front of her home crowd to compete in her first final of the year.
The final started at a blistering pace for Noskova, with two breaks allowing her to take control early. Outplayed at first, Bouzkova managed to turn the tide in the following set by forcing errors from her opponent.
After two one-sided sets, the third began with four consecutive breaks before Bouzkova, trailing 3-2, won five straight games to secure a 2-6, 6-1, 6-3 victory and claim her second WTA title—once again in Prague.
The 27-year-old is the only player in the tournament's history to win the title twice.
As for Noskova, she suffered her second consecutive final defeat after losing to Nao Hibino last season.
