Ignacio Buse continues his impressive run at the ATP 250 tournament in Gstaad. After coming through qualifying with wins against Albert Ramos-Viñolas and Patrick Zahraj, the Peruvian has now strung together three consecutive victories to reach the semifinals.

The world No. 167 defeated Laslo Djere (7-6, 1-6, 6-4) and Kamil Majchrzak (1-6, 7-5, 6-1) before confirming his form in the quarterfinals against Roman Andrés Burruchaga (6-3, 3-6, 6-1). He will now compete for a spot in the final against either Casper Ruud or Juan Manuel Cerundolo.

Before this week, the 21-year-old had never won a main-draw match on the ATP Tour. Now, he finds himself just two wins away from the title in the Swiss city.

By reaching the semifinals, Buse has etched his name into his country’s tennis history, becoming only the third Peruvian player to advance to the semifinals of an ATP tournament in the 21st century, following Luis Horna and Juan Pablo Varillas.

As much as I love watching Alcaraz at his best, I'd love to see Alex taking this, he's such a tryer, and getting married and his humour and humility...

Favoritism?

Last year: Sinner seed 1, the organizers schedule Alcaraz on day 1, Sinner on day 2.

This year: Alcaraz seed 1, the organizers schedule Alcaraz on day 1, Sinner on day 3.

That means: 7 matches in 15 days for Alcaraz, 7 in 13 days for Sinner; and no rest day for Sinner between quarter and semis, 1 full day rest for Alcaraz.

Also, on the first very hot day, the organizers schedule Sinner...

TT- Your pop up ads almost make the app unusable.

FYI- Ive never bought a single item from any of them after years of using your app, a goal that started as short term but has developed into long term.
