Carlos Alcaraz is already qualified for the final four of the Turin Masters.

Thanks to Australian De Minaur's victory over Fritz (7-6, 6-3) in the Jimmy Connors group, the Spanish prodigy has secured his ticket to the semifinals of the 2025 ATP Finals. This is the second time he has advanced from the group stage in Turin.

Nevertheless, the stakes for his next match remain very high, as a win against Musetti (8:30 PM local time) would allow the native of El Palmar to secure the year-end world number one ranking. Furthermore, it would allow him to avoid facing Sinner before the final.

For reference, Alcaraz has played seven matches against Musetti, with a record of six wins and only one defeat (in their first encounter, in the 2022 Hamburg final: 6-4, 6-7, 6-4).
