Carreno Busta wins the Tenerife Challenger and moves closer to the top 100
Pablo Carreno Busta continues his fine start to the 2025 season. Back in the spring of 2024 following a long injury, the Spaniard is closing in on the top 100.
This week, he won the Tenerife Challenger, losing just one set in five matches.
He has won 12 of his 13 Challenger finals.
He dominated Alejandro Moro Canas in the final 6-3, 6-2. Carreno Busta will remain in Tenerife the following week, to play in the second Challenger tournament in the same city.
He will face Jie Cui in the first round.
