Cazaux beats Baez to reach the second round of the Australian Open

Arthur Cazaux had a tough time of it against Sebastian Baez in his first round match at the Australian Open.

The Frenchman was trailing 3-6, 7-5, 6-3. He rallied in the fourth set to win 6-0.

However, he got off to a poor start in the fifth set, being broken early on. But Cazaux managed to come back.

Trailing 3-1, he won the last five games of the set, winning 6-3.

Having reached the last eight in Melbourne last year, the Frenchman avoided the worst, as defeat would have meant dropping out of the top 100.

In the next round, he will face the winner of the clash between Nick Kyrgios and Jacob Fearnley.
