Cazaux falls after a five-set battle against Tabilo

Invited by the organization, Cazaux (113th) faced Tabilo on court no. 9 at Roland-Garros.
After a tightly contested first set won by the Frenchman, the Chilean then leveled the match at one set apiece, taking advantage of his opponent's lack of opportunism on break points (0/5) as well as many unforced errors in the following set (18).
The player ranked 61st in the world then experienced a significant drop in performance, conceding a harsh 1-6 to the Frenchman, spurred on by a supportive crowd.
In the fifth and final set, Tabilo offered very few solutions to the 22-year-old and won after nearly 4 hours of play (5-7, 6-3, 6-2, 1-6, 6-3). The Chilean thus qualified to play against Popyrin in the next round. As for his fourth Roland-Garros appearance, Cazaux will have to wait a little longer for his first victory in the main draw.
