Collins has changed his mind: "The only guarantee will be more epic matches."
We didn't really expect it.
While she had announced that 2024 would be her last professional season, due to her desire to start a family and cope more serenely with endometriosis, Danielle Collins finally wants more.
In an Instagram post, the American explained that family life and life as a tenniswoman were finally reconcilable: "Coping with endometriosis is a huge challenge for many women and something I'm actively working through, but I have full confidence in the team I'm working with.
It's just going to take longer than I thought. So the DANIMAL story has not come to an end.
I'll be back on tour in 2025.
Although there are no guarantees in life, I hope to build on my 2024 momentum and keep playing until there's more certainty about my personal fertility journey.
The only guarantee for now will be more epic matches."
